Mike and Lailani Rumfield - Founders

Mike serves as the President of AmDef and is a U.S. Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, and an active law enforcement officer with over 24 years experience. Lailani serves as Vice President and is the proud daughter of a four-tour Vietnam veteran of the US Army.   Lailani leads our Skip47 K9 program along with being in constant support of our Blue Royalty group.  She has been a law enforcement spouse for 20 years supporting our family through some very challenging times.

Kim Carroll serves on the executive board as our Treasurer.  She is married to a retired law enforcement officer.  Kim is the Director of Events at the Frisco Gun Club.  Kim serves as our event manager annually for the Thin Blue Line Ball.  She is supremely talented and makes sure the event proceeds seamlessly so our law enforcement families have a great night.

Randy Hooker serves as our Secretary, and is an active law enforcement offer with Princeton PD.  Randy has 25 years of law enforcement experience and is a former President of his local police association.  Randy retired from Wylie PD as a Lieutenant prior to joining his current agency.  Randy is also a veteran of the US Air Force and Purple Heart recipient for injuries sustained in the Saudi Arabia barracks bombing.

Pat Alexander serves as our Sgt. at Arms, and is employed as a federal law enforcement officer with Homeland Security.  He began his career with the Dallas Police Department.  He has deployed to our border multiple times to support security operations.  He is married to Vicki Alexander, who also serves as one of AmDef's board member liaisons.  Vicki is a law enforcement daughter whose father is a retired Dallas PD Deputy Chief.
